Bergdorfs Styled Window
While visiting Bergdorfs, the window displays could have been more impressive and somewhat minimal in an incomplete way. I found the windows to be very repetitive however, I still found so much beauty in all of the pieces they styled. My favorite window that they styled was the Ferragamo window which was styled with a beautiful long plaid dress. I decided to restyle this window because it was the most cohesive out of all of the windows. In my version of the Bergdorf window, I wanted to create a schoolgirl vibe with high-end pieces. I thought it would be different to style a window with designer pieces in a very casual way that you could wear to school. The Corset on the left is Act NO1, the leather jacket is Marc Jacobs, the skirt is Prada, adding in a miu miu boyshorts peaking out of the skirt, the bag is Balenciaga and the shoes are Versace. On the right, the top is Prada, the skirt is Courreges, the sunglasses are Miu Miu, the Bag is YSL, and the shoes are MIu Miu. In the window that I curated, I wanted to create a dynamic between a more edgy look on the left contrasted with a more preppy schoolgirl look on the right. I fully eliminated the set of the window and wanted to create a fully new window of a school hallway with lockers and designer coffee table books as school books. I wanted this as my background to help set up the scene and tie everything in even more to make it very cohesive.
